SchoolOne Student Information System (SIS) Requirements
The requirements outlined below reflect the minimum system requirements needed for efficient use of the SIS.
System Requirements
Microsoft Windows
- Windows 2000, XP, or Vista
- Screen Resolution minimum setting is 1024 x 768
- Broadband Internet connection is highly recommended. Application may not operate efficiently at 56kbps.
Apple OS X
- Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) or higher
- Screen Resolution minimum setting is 1024 x 768

Browser Requirements
You must use a web browser that supports 128-bit SSL, cookies, and JavaScript. Supported web browsers include:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or 6 (for Windows) SchoolOne SIS works best with Internet Explorer 7 http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/ie7/
- Firefox 3 or 2 (for Mac OS 10.1 and up, or Windows) SchoolOne works best with Firefox 3 http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/
Note: The SchoolOne Student Information System supports the use of Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 only when the browser setting is configured for Compatibility Mode. This option is found under the browsers Tools menu option. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/default.aspx
Required Plug-Ins
The following browser plug-ins are required (latest version recommended):
- Adobe Reader: http://get.adobe.com/reader/
- Microsoft Print Plug-In: accessible only with the first print of Progress Reports within the SchoolOne Student Information System (SIS).

Additional Recommendations (Pop-up Blockers, Cookies, JavaScript and site downloads)
· Browser settings must be configured to accept Cookies and allow JavaScript. These are usually enabled by default.
· Browser settings must be enabled to allow pop-ups from the SchoolOne SIS URL.
· Downloads to spreadsheets from various reports within the SchoolOne SIS work best with Microsoft Excel 2003 or greater. If Microsoft Excel is not available, Excel Viewer can be used instead. With Excel Viewer, you can open, view, and print Excel workbooks. You can also copy data from Excel Viewer to another program. However, you cannot edit data, save a workbook, or create a new workbook using Excel Viewer. To download the viewer:
